Met a couple today when I was working in the Recology booth who told me they had just moved to Pacific from out of state and were staying in an apartment trying to decide what area of town they wanted to buy a house in. They said they enjoyed the parade and it reminded them of a small town atmosphere but was still near the big city. We talked for quite awhile and exchanged stories and when they left I realized how luck we are to live where we do. Let's all not lose sight of that. Oh and PS...go by the Recology stage to hear some great bands. I sat there by myself for an hour and just "grooved" on the tunes. Great way to spend some time after my "shift" was over.

Don't they call that a perfect chamber of commerce day, or a great day to sell a house on the foggy coast.
We are out of own and was walking my dog. This guy had a half husky half g German shepherd just like my dog when i was a kid. Started talking to him. He governed dow to work in south San Francisco for 8 months. He lived in lands end apartments. He said why does pacifica have a lacking nightlife. He and his wife made good money and had disposable income to spend. He Saud he went to the Chinese place and fish n chips and Columbios deli.
Hd Said that street by the pier could have been a nice downtown area.
And then he hopped in his sleigh, gave a nod to his reindeer and over the rooftops he went.
If pets aren't allowed at Fogfest, why are there so many and in plain view of the monitors who are supposed to be dealing with this issue?
I had the lovely experience of slipping on a little pile of dogs shit yesterday near the main stage. Just saying.
That wasn't a Palmetto patty, it was par for the course.
We hadn't been to FogFest in 4 or 5 years. Seems to me the crowd is scruffier than it used to be. I know, sacrilege, but that's how it seemed to us.
