Time Newsfeed/Denver Nicks, 9/6/24, includes 30 second video. "Watch these 2 deer casually prance across the Golden Gate Bridge."
SF Peninsula to Marin, here we come |
Rush hour, yet so empty, humans got out of the way |
The deer briefly caused a traffic hold up across the iconic bridge but—like many of us on any given day at quitting time—appear unmoved by the humans gawking at them. According to the news agency Storyful, which posted the video of the deer on their commute off the San Francisco peninsula, the California Highway Patrol was called to the scene but by the time they arrived the deer were off the bridge and off on their merry way. No evidence has emerged to suggest that the deer did not make it home in time for dinner."

A couple years ago a coyote was spotted walking across the bridge.
That stuff always has an eerie feel. Makes me think of those scenes in movies about a post-apocalyptic world with empty streets and the flora and fauna taking over.
And now, I wasn't describing Pacifica.
Next is planet of the Apes saga!
Lots of film, monkeys on the bridge.
