This is a six billion dollar cash grab because our legislature can't get their sh-- together! Remember the lottery? That was only to go to the schools. Well it did, but our genius' in Sac cut a like amount from the general fund going to schools. A wash. That is, until receipts from lottery went down and schools took it in the shorts. The politicos had earmarked all that redistributed school dollars to pet projects and special interests. Same thing is going to happen here. Feed me, Seymour!

What about Prop 32? Funny, you don't read much about this prop on any of the democratic run blogs. Why?
I surmise that the new mantra from the 1%rs will be " who needs college?" While the great divide continues to widen.
No. The new Mantra is; We can't afford college. I will get a job and take a course or two a semester at a community college I can afford.

Even that might not be possible if Prop 30 fails to pass which looks pretty iffy at this point. While you might be able to afford community college classes, the right classes might no be available any longer.
Heard Jerry Brown talk the other day
about Prop 30. He wasn't threatening to cut if the Prop didn't pass, he was stating that he would make the cuts.
I'm afraid that an entire generation of non-1%r's children (including my own) will be denied a decent education and will be stuck in low paying careers.
While I don't condone it, I can forsee actual class warfare at a future time; "to the barricades, Citizens !"
