A suspect has been arrested in the slaying of a 24-year-old man whose body was found early Wednesday in the front yard of a home in Pacifica, police said.

The suspect, a 24-year-old Pacifica man whose name wasn't released, was being held at San Mateo County Jail in the killing of Keith Coffey.

The former Skyline College student also lived in Pacifica and worked at a pizza parlor, according to his Facebook page.

Officers responded to a home on Dell Road at about 5:15 a.m. after a report of a disturbance there. They found the victim lying in the front yard, and medical crews declared him dead at the scene.

Heard it on the scanner a little after 5 then heard all the sirens.

Its all part of the wasted youth and decay of the city.

Hang on it will get much worse before it gets better.A

Very sad. We watched both the suspect and victim grow up and they are from good families. I don't understand. RIP Keith Coffey , for you will be dearly missed.
