Half Moon Bay Art & Pumpkin Festival
The Half Moon Bay Competition

The following article is from the first day of the Half Moon Bay Pumpkin Festival, Saturday, October 13, 2012.

If you're looking for something to do Sunday, October 14, 2012, and you didn't spend all your "for play" money at the Pacifica Fog Fest, you may want to check out the Half Moon Bay Pumpkin Festival.  Good luck with the drive.  You might be stuck in traffic, then there's the parking.  Otherwise, should be fun.

"There was no rain on the Great Pumpkin Parade. Sunshine reigned throughout Saturday for the 42nd Half Moon Bay Art & Pumpkin Festival. Attendees from all over the nation – and in some cases, world – enjoyed temperatures ranging from 54 degrees to 66 degrees. The day was made brighter for football fans with a visit from a San Francisco 49ers favorite.

.... Hall of Fame quarterback and Super Bowl Most Valuable Player Steve Young cruised down Main Street on the bed of a pick-up truck in the parade with his family.

.... The Grand Marshal’s duties included the parade float-ride with his wife and kids, as well as judging the pie-eating contests.Read article.  Picture of Grand Marshal Steve Young and family from the Half Moon Bay Review.

Pacifica should have a fest once a quarter. Fog Fest. 3 others start up frontier days and the rodeo once again.

If Fred Howard can put on fog fest, putting on 3 other festivals wouldnt be that gard
