And no one makes a comment or even bothered to watch.
At least Pacifica Index, says what happens at council.
Riptide & Fix Pacifica=same old same old nothing
Anonymous 8:17 AM, bizarre comment considering you yourself could comment on this city council meeting if you were watching or had anything immediate to say.
Or is it that you are just promoting the anonymous Pacifica Index reference information? If so follow the link.
I don't see anything over on Pacifica Index that talks about what happened at last night's meeting.
Give them a day or two to post them.
BTW maybe you need new glasses cause every other meeting is on Pacifica Index.

The initial comment gave the false impression that there was already a report about last night's meeting.
Clear visual observation Anonymous Index 2:16 PM: How about a link, and a specific location clue to find these reports you just listed?
Sinai, are you a cop? or the CIA or FBI or KGB?
All,
Pacifica Index will not provide coverage of meetings when we are unable to attend in person (although we will always provide the agendas and minutes to every meeting regardless).
Our stance is that if we're going to report on events, we should physically be at those events to report on what occurred and not rely on second-hand reports or PCT-26 broadcasts to do so. We're not sure about the ethics of doing the later, but it happens with regularity within bylined ariticles here in Pacifica.
This was the case last night -- due to prior commitments, no one could be at the City Council Meeting on our behalf. So, no article about it.
We have a statement to this effect on our forum if you'd wish to take this subject up there.
Good for you Index. I'm going to try to catch it on the rerun. Probably without the sound.
Pacifica Index=creditable blog
Fix Pacifica=non creditable blog
"We're not sure about the ethics of doing the later, but it happens with regularity within bylined ariticles here in Pacifica." Pacifica Index, 3:06 PM
You're right, some of us, we, I have no problem with providing byline articles, or viewing televised city council. Attending the actual meeting or not is a slightly difference experience, but not always superior.
However, Pacifica Index, your face to the public is anonymous. That does not seem to trouble you ethically? What presents as reliable information from an unknown, anonymous source does bother some of us who are accountable with our actual names.
You're right, some of us, we, I have no problem with providing byline articles, or viewing televised city council.
The comment wasn't directed towards you or Fix Pacifica.
There are full-time journalists in Pacifica that report on events and even go so far as to provide quotes said by individuals at those events, all while not actually being physically present -- nor do they disclose that they weren't atually at the events.
At best these reporters are playing fast and loose with the truth -- doing nothing to dispell the widely-held notion that they actually attend the events they report on in this manner -- and at worst it's just plain unethical.
Well, if you are at these public meetings (Pacifica Index) can you tell us who you are?
Index appears to be the voice of reason and fact. They're probably from out of town. Keep your anonymity, Index. We need your voice.
