First of all, you can "Clean Out" your garage or that closet that
has been nagging you for
a long time and sponsor a garage sale as part
of Fall Sweep. Details, including registration forms, are available at
www.pacificans-care.org,
by calling 359-0836, or by
picking up an application at the Community
Center, PB&R Department, the libraries and Rec
ology of the Coast.
Sept. 22 is the deadline, so don't hesitate.
Fall Sweep will be
advertising your garage sale, providing maps to increase your customers
and
Recology of the Coast will provide free pickup of your unsold items.

For example, I'm donating this cap |
Secondly, b
y hosting a garage sale and donating half of your
proceeds to Pacificans Care you will "Help Out" the entire community.
Pacificans Care provides annual supplemental support to Child Care and
Senior Services, the Resource Center and the Pacifica Youth Services
Bureau. Your efforts will help Pacificans Care provide meals to
homebound seniors in the community, youth counseling programs in our
schools and emergency support for someone who recently lost their job or
home.
It's a win-win for you and the community. And best of all, you
can "Have Fun!" Gather your friends and neighbors to join in with you
for Fall Sweep. Encourage them to use the Fall Sweep map to visit all
the garage sales around the community. Maps will be available beginning
July 30th at the same locations mentioned above and the Pacificans Care
website.
If you need more information about Fall Sweep call 359-0836 or email
kathygustavson@gmail.com.
Thanks to Recology of the Coast, Caroline Totah Organizing Solutions
and The GraphicWorks for sponsoring the Fall Sweep. I hope you will
join me in supporting Pacificans Care and the Fall Sweep City-wide
Garage Sale on Oct. 13."
