Pacifica Chamber of Commerce awards

3.  Darlene Gonzalez, Stearns Lending, Outstanding Volunteer.
4.  John The Sign Guy, John Barnes, Business of the Year.
5.  Pacifica Resource Center, Outstanding Community Organization.
6.  Ginny Jaquith (vacancy on City Council), and Javier Chavarria, (volunteer youth sports), Outstanding Individual Community Contributors.
7. The Surf Spot, Innovative New Business.

.... "These are just some of the winners celebrated last week at the annual Pacifica Chamber of Commerce award ceremony and 2013 installation of officers. Cheryl Yoes of Dial Glass and Window Company took the helm as incoming president. 

.... Chamber board members told the dinner audience  (1/31/13) at Nick's about the work they are doing to promote businesses and to attract tourists to Pacifica. That includes work on a new website and phone application and creating a community committee focused on expanding local tourism. Chamber of Commerce events, such as the recent Rockaway tree lighting, have been very well attended.  Sponsors of the awards ceremony are Recology of the Coast, Nick's Restaurant, Seaview Tire and Brake Center, Miller and O'Brien Service and Towing, Seton Medical Center, Darlene Gonzalez, Stearns Lending, Hack's Auto Body, Annette M. Now there's some good news about some good people doing good things in this town. Bill Gray, 40 years here...that's a lifetime invested in Pacifica and I think with good returns for all of us. Bravo!
