"A dromedary wandered through a broken fence and onto a rural road near Bay Point twice Tuesday, blocking drivers and prompting a pair of lasso retrievals, authorities said.

Rudy belongs to D and B Land and Cattle, DeCosta said. California Highway Patrol officers and Pittsburg police responded, but it was ranch hands from the farm who lassoed Rudy back onto the property each time. Rudy wasn’t hurt, DeCosta said.
