This is a win being that Julie and her buddy wanted to get on the Coastal Commission.

@1020 You're a genuine Pacifica deep thinker. They appointed a different name with the same philosophy. Don't stop with your little victory dance.

That's a genuine Pacifica deep thinker. BTW we're still on that burning ship and things can and will get worse.

Thanks to the NOBIES & HIPPIES bankruptcy coming soon to a town(Pacifica) near you!

Like the boy who cried wolf, if you keep screaming bankruptcy when in fact it's not imminent, nobody will pay attention if and when it really is about to happen. Your cries of bankruptcy are counterproductive.

We are not near bankruptcy. We couldn't file if we knew how. (Sit down, consultant, we'll call you.) We just don't have the amount of reserves that the experts say we should. We also don't have the money to maintain the streets, the sewer, the dog park, the beach, the pier, ie, the town is a dump. So what else is new? We should expect those skilled tax and spend thespians on Council to bleat ever more frantically about the lack of cash as we get closer to the time to put a tax measure on the ballot. That's really what's coming our way.

I stopped paying attention to this clown long ago.

Put all the sales tax measures on all the ballots you want. No one is going to give this city council any more money, till something revenue producing gets approved and built.

The hippies have spoken. The city can not pay for basic services and all is well. Fire and Police are short staffed and salaries are the lowest in San Mateo County.

The roads are horrible, the manor over pass is crumbling. Highway 1 has been talked about for 30+ years and nothing has been done.

Now all is well in town. Curtis, must has whispered this in your ears.

City Council fooled the taxpayers one too many times on a sales tax measure. Bottom line not enough taxable items are sold in town. Why? Cause the hippies and nobies haven't let anything get built around town.

You give these boneheads a nickel, they'll spend a quarter. All while misrepresenting the situation and playing word games. Remember the old rehearsed question and answer skits Vreeland would put on with city staff for the benefit of the audience? Well he's clearly passed that trait on to another councilmember. Creepy! I will not vote yes for any tax measure. I don't trust council or staff.
