The house reassessment article was of interest because of 50,000 properties sold in 2002-2008 (and in East Palo Alto from 1999), the County Assessor's office automatically re-assessed 40,000 properties. That's pretty efficient government notification (assessment slower, but automatic wow).
And, the 5/28 article has already been posted on the COUNTY ASSESSOR'S WEBSITE . Pretty impressive, huh?
