Pacifica police captain Realyvasquez out, new police captain Steidle in

Longtime Pacifica Police officer Dan Steidle, currently a sergeant, has been tapped to succeed retiring Fernando Realyvasquez as Pacifica Police Captain. Steidle has a bachelor's degree in criminal justice and a master's in strategic leadership.  Read article.

Of Note: Realyvasquez went over to the sheriffs department. Probably cause the merger is going to happen sooner then we all think.

hmmm, well we're losing the smart ones anyhow. they know when to get out. probably see fernando in pacifica again--just wearing a different uniform.
get off your collective arse city council and outsource now. the election is over, what's the excuse? prefer a tax? you're taking a month to clean up that outsourcing report before you can release it? you people are unbelievable--and that's not just a figure of speech.
