There are several proposals for this site from developers and private citizens. The recent site plan was not a reflection of any of those ideas and was really lacking in any kind of vision or creativity unfortunately. Mary Ann (our current mayor) has almost all of the different proposals, all of which have similar elements but in different configurations that include a small hotel, shops, offices, condo's/time shares and a revised library structure.

Perhaps you can try contacting her and asking to see the various ideas that have been put to paper by interested local individuals and developers...?
