From San Mateo County Times 7/1/11. On Monday, there will be no shortage of parades to choose from. Foster City, Half Moon Bay, Menlo Park, Pacifica and Redwood City will hold patriotic processions of various sizes. Among the myriad other activities countywide, Foster City will feature a dog show, while Redwood City will host a 5K fun run. When night falls, Half Moon Bay will witness the return of its fireworks, thanks to the fundraising effort of American Legion Post 474. The show will take place at Pillar Point Harbor. In Foster City, the pyrotechnics are scheduled for 9:30 p.m. at Leo J. Ryan Memorial Park....
