when will we ever have a meeting in pacifica about the DOG OWNERS who refuse to pick up after there dogs. please post this, you refused to post others concerning these owners. not all owners walk away, but there are to many who let others step in poop, and children and elderly are the ones most vulnerable to disease. thanks

I've notice that many level-headed posts critical of dogs, Lorie Tinfow, or the proposed library "go missing" on this blog and never see the light of day. I'm sure this will be blamed on some spam filter or the posts will be characterized as "inarticulate nonsense" (believe me, they're not).
Seems like these particular viewpoints are at odds with those of the moderators of this site who have forgotten their own commentary policy that they have posted on the front page: "Fix Pacifica won't bury viewpoints we disagree with."
It's not my blog, so they can post whatever they want, but the moderators shouldn't pretend that this blog is even-handed and doesn't promote a certain point of view by refusing to post comments that disagree with their pet projects.
950, if your series of "poop" comments were not posted, they did not pass the smell test. And you do know what fragrance that is.
Education usually helps. Why not contact your favorite City Councilmember to assist with positive solutions, bring the issue to Council, maybe put-up a few signs, etc.?
10:22, the comments that do get spammed often are "inarticulate nonsense." Other reasons comments get spammed is because they're personal attacks out of the blue as part of someone's personal vendetta, or because people start hijacking a thread by posting 10 comments that repeat the same thing.
I sent the council and mayor, folders of pictures and info on the poop on the streets and all over pacifica where people walk , its an issue that dog owners need to be held responsible for, they need to take care of their dogs, and not leave cleaning up to their neighbors, or those who clean up the trails and beaches.
