Support letter for the sale of Seton Hospital to Prime Healthcare Services, Inc., action requested

Seton Medical Center is nearly out of money I've been told, and without delay and interruptions in services, we need our regional Seton Medical Centers.  In support of the sale of Seton Medical Center to Prime Healthcare Services, Inc., if you will, please send your comments or the completed form letter below to Scott Chan, State of CA Deputy Attorney General.

"Persons may and are encouraged to present their views on the proposed transaction in writing to the California Attorney General’s Office electronically via email to scott.chan@doj.ca.gov, via facsimile at (415) 703-5480, or by mailing a copy to Scott Chan, Deputy Attorney General, 455 Golden Gate Avenue, Suite 11000, San Francisco, CA 94102. The deadline for receipt of written comments is January 12, 2015."

I am expressing my support of the transaction to sell Daughters of Charity Health System (DCHS) in Prime Health Care Services and Prime Healthcare Foundation (Prime Healthcare).

Although there's been a lot of competing voices for and against this sale, only imagine what would happen to our communities without any safety net hospitals at all.  Please keep this hospital open. When hospitals die, so could people.

I am a community member who supports this transaction for Seton Medical Center/Seton Coastside.
