This was taken off the consent agenda for Monday's City Council meeting and discussed. There were no public comments. Those that weren't there should watch the rebroadcast on PCTV (cable or internet). The City Council vote was 4 to 1 in favor, with Mike O'Neill casting the no.

The fire department should have got back pay raise money for the 3 years the city was jerking them off.

722 You sure they didn't? Buried somewhere in contract or called something other than retro? A little higher rate to avoid writing those retro checks? Neither the city nor the unions want to aggravate the taxpayers over retro. Maybe they just didn't mention it?
