Pacifica Tribune/Staff, 4/29/14. "Wild Equity Institute files another golf course lawsuit."
|
Coming after our golf course again |
..... "Wild
Equity Executive Director Brent Plater filed suit in San Francisco
Superior Court seeking to halt a planned habitat improvement project at
the eighty-year-old public course and require a full-scale Environmental
Impact Report. .... San Francisco, which
owns the course, had previously rejected Mr. Plater's appeal to halt the
project with a unanimous vote of both the Planning Commission and the
Recreation and Parks Commission and, on March 25, a seven-to-four vote
by the Board of Supervisors.
....
His goal is to remove the golf course and create a wetlands
sanctuary for the frogs and snakes, most likely under the control of the
GGNRA."

Uh oh ........
Plater must be running low on taxpayer funded income.
This guy is a menace who knows how to work the system.
The only way to stop him is to countersue and/or put some re-election fear into his political cronies.
Sharp Park is Plater's cash cow.
Yeah they opened an office in Berkeley, probably need some money for rent. Oh Ian, why don't you contribute and help shut down Sharp Park.
Ian said he was ok with a 9 hole golf course on the back 9. Which meant after the nimbys, noobees, and hippes got done it would be a putting green.
The scary thing is Plater will eventually find the right political appointee judge. The wheel will turn.
Plater is pond scum.
