"Editor: We have lived in Pacifica almost nine years and I have never gotten used to the traffic on Highway 1. For residents and visitors alike, this is a major nuisance. It will not go away unless we act together and get the road work done.
The solution is at hand (Caltrans' plan) and we cannot
allow a minority of no-growth zealots rob us of the cure. The required
work is inevitable with or without zealot support. Why wait? Traffic
will only get worse and cost higher (including lower property values)."
