No developer in his sane or insane mind will want to JV with the city on this site. They have to try to sell it out right and back away. The library is a pipe dream. No developer is going to give them any money for a library.

5 years from now this will still be the old shit pit.

Anonymous said...: I suppose that the rationale here is "build it and they will come." However, before undertaking such an ambitious endeavor, how about doing something our crumbling infrastructure? Noticed yesterday that the white STOP line painted at Oceana and Monterey is almost obliterated. seems pretty simple to fix that.
