No developer in his sane or insane mind will want to JV with the city on this site. They have to try to sell it out right and back away. The library is a pipe dream. No developer is going to give them any money for a library.

The only hope for this site is Swenson but he was chased out of Pacifica 3 times already.
I suppose that the rationale here is "build it and they will come." However, before undertaking such an ambitious endeavor, how about doing something our crumbling infrastructure? Noticed yesterday that the white STOP line painted at Oceana and Monterey is almost obliterated. seems pretty simple to fix that. I'm sure that there are many other "small fixes" that we need before embarking on yet another large construction project.

you need to call public works and put in a message to the city manager. I have called them a few times and they have taken care of the problem.
