Mountain Lion sighting in Pacifica
At 08:00 AM, today a possibe mountain lion was seen in the vicinity of San Pedro Valley Park (600 Oddstad Blvd) in Pacifica, California. The mountain lion was approximately 2 miles into the park walking along a trail.
If you see a mountain lion DO NOT APPROACH IT, especially one that is feeding or with offspring. Most mountain lions will try to avoid confrontation.
Here are a few tips:
Avoid hiking or jogging when mountain lions are most active—dawn, dusk, and at night.
Keep a close watch on small children.
If you encounter a mountain lion, do not run; instead, face the animal, make noise and try to look bigger by waving your arms; throw rocks or other objects.
Pick up small children.

This morning at 10:00 a few of us were observing a very large bobcat lounging in the meadow off the main trail about a half mile in. Maybe that's what was spotted and reported earlier?
It was Todd Bray, in a Mt. Lion suit trying to scare away the builders of the senior assisted living center.
I'm flattered you think I'm svelte enough to fit into a mountain lion suit Anon. I have a second hand over the counter douche bag that would probably fit you like a glove Anon.
