I've been asked to do a sign showing the Sheriff of Nottingham (Bugs Bunny version) gleefully squeezing green blood out of the local peasantry declaring he supports the fire tax, "The Sheriff of Nottingham says YES to Fire Tax!!" Hope I can have it done for tomorrow nights sales pitch.
I wonder how much we're really paying Wildann. I understand it's $45,000 to come on out on April 11 and count the ballots handed over to them by the city but is that all inclusive or are there other charges for additional services and consultation? How big an outrage are we talking here?
Oh please! This is an information meeting only. Questions about the process and stuff like that. A government office can't campaign. Look on the web Willdan seems to provide the financial services and if you even looked at the report you would know there are complex financial rules that control this. There are lots of state requirements that are needed for anything like this assessment. Stop looking for a boogie man, you sound like Fox news. Talk to the state or county if you are looking for a "sheriff."
