F rated (Frogs) lawsuit: Peter Loeb for Highway 1 Alternatives (PH1A) and CENTER FOR BIOLOGICAL DIVERSITY, (the attorneys get paid).

The lawsuit is against Caltrans/US Fish and Wildlife (previously Caltrans/SM County/Pacifica), Highway 1 widening 1.8 mile. "The problem, the Judge found, was that the Pacifica Parcel (5.24-acre parcel north of the WWTP) is already protected."
Can't use an already protected area for Frogs and Snakes. "Caltrans would need to start over with a new biological opinion."

AS TRAFFIC CONTINUES TO WORSEN, AND YOU SIT IN TRAFFIC OR WORSE THANK NIMBIES, AND CBD ONCE AGAIN! (Remember CBD and our SF golf course?)
But good news: if an Ambulance, Fire Truck or Police can't get through traffic to save your life, and you die-- this continuing inadequate infrastructure issue will no longer affect you.

Wouldn't it be ironic if it was one of the hippies that needed medical attention and couldn't get it in time, due to them stopping Highway 1.

Killing Highway One, killing Quarry development, facilitating managed retreat, killing West Sharp Park, killing the golf course, killing construction of affordable housing........
man these guys are busy. When do they have time to fire up bowl fulls?

Well, at least it looks like the WAHmbulance can get through, judging by all the pants-pissing here.

Yeah, this had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with CalTrans breaking the goddamned law and then going forward with trying to cover it up.

Oh no, it was the damned NIMBIES' and other assorted woodland creatures to blame for this. For all of this!!! WAH!

LAFFO!

230 Let's pretend the courts looked the other way and the Highway is widened. True irony would be the death of a zealous, noisy supporter of widening Highway One due to the delay of an emergency vehicle in the traffic the widening failed to fix and probably made worse. That's irony. Hell, that's a Greek tragedy.
