David Gromm is retiring and being hired back as a consultant.
This is exactly why this city is broke! Double-dipping like this should be illegal and the City Manager should be fired.
758, sure, better in the transition to new management an error occurs and the waste water treatment plant blows-up. Brilliant!
Sounds like the 758 NIMBY (bring no progress, knock-out people who will bring it) Anonymous should be fired. Kudos to the City Manager and her team again!
Maybe we can bring "Cowboy" Scott Holmes back!

The plant almost blew out, actually, back about 10 years ago. The spill that resulted in the lawsuits against the city.
758 Sunshine, you're amazing. Let me guess. You'd hire a grocery checker to consult on the WWTP instead of someone familiar with the plant and its operation. Yeah, bring your own bag. Brilliant.
Some people live in such a dank dark mental hole they are incapable of positive thoughts about anything. Their criticism is global, compulsive, irrational and beyond their control.
So let me get this straight. 1106/Moonbeam, according to you, just because you can drive/operate your car, you are also the best person to repair/troubleshoot it. Bad news for all those repair garages!
So before hiring the "grocery clerk", I'd bring in some new, independent blood with some substantial public works cred and have them tell me where Gromm and the rest went wrong and how to fix it in a cost effective manner. You know, someone with an actual brain who is not playing the double-dip scheme. We already let Cowboy Scott Holmes double-dip us and you can see where that got us with "familiarity with the plant and its operations".
Please tell me you're not planning on being the next City Manager!
