Then beating the traffic coming home: work really late, or leave early (no one will notice).

That's one of the funniest LTE's I've seen in a long time! Keep it up Bill. That made my day!
Hi Bill..I work in town and on Tuesday it took me 18 minutes to get from Highway 1 and Linda Mar Blvd to Highway 1 and Fassler. The time was 7:16 am. Today it took me 16 minutes to get from Crespi and Fassler to Highway 1 and Fassler. The time was 8:19 am.
Last night it took me 26 minutes to get from Palmetto Avenue near the golf course to Sheila Lane at 5:21 pm. This short of a commute should be 10 minutes at the most.
Have another rabbit to pull out of the hat?
Catapult. Yes, a catapult would solve these problems. Park and fly. Bike sharing at each landing zone. No, no make that rickshaws. Some catapultees may not be bike-ready. A spectacular, eco-friendly solution.
And with all those rickshaws we can reach full employment. With all those local jobs more money stays in Pacifica, business booms, new stores open. With all the tourist coming to see the rickshaws, A casino opens. The City's money problems are solved.
But no Catapults, the personal liability cost could break this town.
I believe Jim's commute is a half mile down Oddstad to his office on Terra Nova.
Chris needs a faster car. Maybe one with an engine and no feet?
I'd go for a gondola between Pacifica and the Colma BART station.
everyone must get up earlier and transplant the full gridlock commute to 6AM to be extended by school drops off starting at what 815AM??
I also think everyone in Vallemar must leave town no later then 530AM or face arrest.
who says traffic planning can't be fun!
I can see Porter and Wagner in rickshaws. Bray, too. Gondolas would be so romantic but may have to wait for sea rise. Clifford's right about all the benefits of a rickshaw economy. Ours for the taking. I'm sure our crafty city attorney can come up with a bullet-proof waiver of liability. Splat!
some people don't even go to work. They sit home and spew BS on the internet jumping from one message board to another. Then when they are really bored or people are tired of them spewing BS they appeal projects to the California Coastal Commission.
I want one of those cool rickshaws that let the operator bounce way up in the air!!! YEA!!!! To quote Jimmy Cagney, "Lokk at me mah! Look at your baby boy now! Hahahaha! Ugh, ouch, owww."
Bray, no skipping steps. First the catapult, then you can ride in the rickshaw. Versteh?
Here you go.

We have mountains. Why not a network of zip lines!?
Montara Mountain can be the alpha mountain connecting all of Pacifica. Pickups on Park Pacifica Ave and Fassler north! All aboard!
