How do you get notified of these, Simba?
Virgin America is also my favorite domestic airline.
Always trying to pimp the city.
Is there a way to get notified when people ask about Pacifica? I noticed Hutch contributing as well.
Fight the urge to over-pimp! Prospective visitors like to see more comments from other visitors. Too many locals looks suspicious.
But local views are valued too. Who knows better where to eat, surf stay than locals? Yes too much local input isn't good. But I don't really see that happening.
I think Simba and Hutch provide a very fair and balanced perspective in the few comments I read. Obvious pimping would be discarded for what it is, but I like letting people know what to do. I'd just like to be notified about local queries without trolling Trip Advisor night and day.
I happened to be flying home from a business trip last year when a Russian couple saw my Pacifica Tribune and asked for a copy. I told them they wouldn't care about my local newspaper, but they explained that they were staying at the BW Lighthouse for a week's holiday in SF. I ended up giving them a ride from SFO with several pointers on what to do.
