Another great move by the chamber of horrors
The previous post is so full of false assumptions that it's impossible to address. The only relevant fact is that last year's tree lighting ceremony was very successful and well-attended.
It was a success. You hear me? A success.
Maybe you do nothings on weekends have the free time to go down to watch this stupid tree lighting.

The flyer states that event will be at the Rockaway Beach Kiosk which -- I think -- is at the intersection of Dondee St/Nick Gust Way and Rockaway.
I'm a sucker for the Christmas Carols.
The only other Rockaway Beach I know of is in New York.
Probably not that one.

There are about 3 or 4 people that post on this site that are a waste of air. Go form a "dark cloud hangs over everything" blog and depress each other. Something as innoculous as a tree lighting event, that was well attended last year and immensly enjoyed, turns into a name calling brohaha from these guys. My humble opinion, you have nothing to offer here, go climb under a rock and hope for disaster. You're jerks.

Lack of Christmas Spirit? More like some folk just won't buy the propaganda--no matter who puts it out.
All I know is there was a lot of Christmas Spirit at last year's event. Hell of a bar!
Probably attended by the same 12 chamber weinies that show up at every event for free food and a heat on
cool and now they can ride the shuttle too. hey, it's a party bus.
