here you go. Had all summer to do this. Now they screw up student arrival/drop-off at 2 schools plus morning commute, plus library patronage.
Best we can do: re-scehdule to start after 9AM and pick up job a round 2:45 before either school lets out.
fools.

Parents taking their students to Terra Nova High School today shouldn't worry, but beginning Aug. 22, traffic will be backed up on Terra Nova Boulevard after school due to construction.
Between Everglades Drive and Oddstad Boulevard on Terra Nova Boulevard, the city will be resurfacing the road and installing new sidewalks with handicap ramps, Raymund Donguines, Associate Civil Engineer for the City of Pacifica, said.
Starting Aug. 22, the contractor hired by the city, CF Archibald, will be tearing up and rebuilding the sidewalks. On Aug. 29 and 30, they'll be grinding the road pavement, and on Aug. 31 and Sept. 1 they'll be laying new pavement down. Construction will go on from 9a.m. to 4p.m. every weekday but not on weekends, Donguines said.
School starts at Terra Nova High School, on Terra Nova Boulevard, and at Oceana High School on Wednesday, Aug. 17, and at Pacifica elementary and middle schools, including Ortega Elementary School, also on Terra Nova Boulevard, on Aug. 24.
Donguines said drivers should expect traffic in the afternoon and seek alternate routes.
The city will also be doing roadwork on Hicky Boulevard between Gateway Drive and Inverness Drive after construction is done on Terra Nova. In total, construction has an allowed window of 35 weekdays.

ohmigosh. traffic inconvenience for 2 weeks. the horror.
If this is all you got to complain about, then the city is doing pretty well.
This says more about the complainer looking for something to complain about. Give it up - Really
In Pacifica, the city is damned if they do and damned if they don't. With all the real issues to complain about this one is ridiculous. I guess contempt for the public's intelligence can come from any quarter. Glad the city can fix those streets. Get on with it.
I live on Terra Nova and think this is GREAT news - we've needed repaving for a while. I'm willing to deal with it like a grownup and Linda Mar is a great option. We'd have to be inconvenienced at some time for improvements. Be brave, Mark!
prior posters probably work for CalTrans, DMV, Homeland Security or some other bureaucratic agency who don't care about customer or public service. Thinking ahead and common courtesy are unknown to them.
How about a little personal inconvenience for the greater common good? Whatever became of that very admirable trait? You don't see much of it anymore. It's all me me me me me.
Why aren't all you libertarians paving your own streets?
Gosh, we will be soon enough. See you at the barricades!
This is how Pacifica lives. In a chicken coop with dirty busted pot hole lined streets, with a busted Infrastructure, a sewer plant that never quite worked right, that replaced the old waste water treatment plant that never worked quite right. That has sat empty for 12 years..
Grants and Free money that falls out of the sky. Welcome to the great welfare hand out city of Pacifica.
You can thank Vreeland, DeJarnatt, Digree and Nancy Hall. Oh and the great leader of city council John Curtis
This is how Pacifica lives people
dirty bankrupt barefoot and pregnant
Ortega starts school next week. How's that going to work out? And driving down Terra Nova in the morning or afternoon is no treat with the high school in session. How are they going to get there? Go around and detour on Crespi or Hwy 1? That oughta work out just fine!
OMG, what'll we do? This is a disaster. Call the governor, get the National Guard out here asap. Form a committee. We'll need sub-committees too. Recall everybody, everywhere. We can't deal with this, waaaaa waaaa waaaa.
Curios...dirty bankrupt barefoot and pregnant? Speak for yourself, please.
