Its postings like Slavin's that has earned "Fix Pacifica" the reputation as a hate-site. While Sinai takes juvenile pleasure in fostering this kind of tea-bagger tone, those City council candidates that post here should be aware that the smell adheres to them as well.
The vote is in," Tea-bagger site" wins! (Your confusion stems from the fact that the Pacifica whack-pack is so far off the edge that the think being crazy to the right is is equal to being lib, proving once again that Rod Serling had a hand in the original design of Hwy 1)
Well said Lois! Anyone with "half a brain" can view this blog and the other one, and make-up their own mind. Conversation and public opinion happens here, including a few unfortunate comments, such as that of Anon, 8:21am.
Fortunately the 18 hole Sharp Park Golf Course upgrade is moving forward, and its doubtful that the "hate" letters will matter-- thanks to the City of San Francisco, and the support of bay area golfers including the SF Golf Course Alliance (members such as Paul Slavin), and Save Sharp Park Golf Course (with leadership by people like Barbara Arietta).
There is no reason to tear down this 75+ year historic 18 hole golf course enjoyed by our Pacifica community, San Francisco and the San Mateo peninsula. Please note from the EPA: The preferred SF garter snake habitat is "densely vegetated ponds near open hillsides". Also, the SF garter snake really does not have to eat the equally threatened RL frogs, they also hunt "Pacific tree frogs". Besides, the range of the SF garter snake to roam in the SF bay area is as far south as the Santa Cruz mountains. So, what is the real reason for attempting to deny golfers and our civilized society access to Sharp Park Golf Course?
Thanks for the "Pacifica Patch" post @ 10:22pm Steve, that was so un-juvenile of you.
"...Your confusion stems from the fact that the Pacifica whack-pack is so far off the edge that the think being crazy to the right is is equal to being lib, proving once again that Rod Serling had a hand in the original design of Hwy 1"
Huh? Why is it that the people claiming to be arbiters of rationality are the ones who write the most incoherent, irrational statements?
Taxpayers should not have to pay for a golf course-- we have enough already! October 12, 2010 11:07 PM "
We enough what already? If you are saying we have enough golf courses already you are correct in that we do, but what we don't have have is enough affordable golf courses like Sharp Park. Seniors and junior players all get to play here for discounted rates and that is a good thing in an economy like today's.
Don't we have enough taxpayer supported parks already? Do we need more? Sharp Park is a parkland and was created as a recreational area for citizens of SF and the Peninsula.

Sounds like you are the hater "Anonymous" with your derogatory use of the word "tea-bagger" to identify people that don't agree with you!
Man up! and identify yourself instead of making derogatory statements from under your rock.
This is confusing. At various times, Fix Pacifica has been accused of being both a Libtard, Demo-rat website, and a Rovian, Teabagger website.
I'm having an identity-crisis here.

And why is it that the people who complain about insulting "hate-speech" always do it within an insulting, "hate-speech"-like comment?
It's called hypocrisy, Steve. Anon doesn't even know how he is sounding.
Hey, Anon. If you only want to read things with one point of view, stay on Riptide.
Paul, why did you remove your "fair" article?
Of course, I can understand removing the evil picture.
