People against progress in this city

to benefit you?

No growth in this city,
and you are not welcome.

"Editor:  I am really, really embarrassed for John Keener our newest council person. His supporters are the people who are against any progress or development here. And now he's paying his dues to them.

Keener is appealing the approval of the Harmony @ One project, which makes no sense to anyone with sense. Ground was broken on this long planned and approved development months ago. Harmony @ One is a green development of 8 homes negotiated 10 years ago by Pacifica environmentalists like Nancy Hall.

The developer is meeting stringent guidelines such as using green materials, solar power and recycled water. It has been approved by the city, the planning commission and all departments as well as environmentalists.

Sorry it's too late to appeal anything. Still Keener sees fit to oppose an already approved green project. Do you think he's doing this to placate his supporters? If so this is a big waste of city time and money. And you wonder why I say these people are against everything? Jeesh."
