"Alameda's USS Hornet Museum Memorial Day Ceremony. The ceremony will feature a commemorative wreath-toss and special guest Moon Chin who rescued many U.S. military personnel and civilians fleeing the Japanese advances in China during World War II. Gate National Cemetery Memorial Day Observance. Guest speakers will be
Steven Butow and J. Kevin Graves. The ceremony will also feature a
wreath presentation, vocalists, brass band, flyover and rifle salute. 11

Oak Hill Memorial Park. The ceremonial event will include keynote speakers Marion Matundan and Matthew Bell. Additionally, there will be a military aircraft flyover, a wreath procession representing conflicts and special groups, Del Mar High School presenting colors, military vehicles on display, and a hot dog barbecue. 11 a.m. May 26. 300 Curtner Ave., San Jose. 408-297-2447.
San Francisco Presidio Memorial Day Commemoration. This year's ceremony will pay tribute to Vietnam Veterans with a parade of the 191st Army Band, veterans organizations and distinguished guests. The parade starts at the Main Post near Sheridan and Lincoln Boulevard. 10:30 a.m. May 26. National Cemetery in the Presidio, 1 Lincoln Blvd. 415-561-5300.
USS Pampanito in San Francisco. "Lost Boat" ceremony, honoring comrades and submarines lost at sea will feature a 52-bell toll for each military vessel with its crew lost. 10 a.m. May 26. Fisherman's Wharf, Pier 45, Taylor Street and The Embarcadero. Please contact 415-775-1943 extension 13, for reservations."
