why is the city harassing the new home builders? what gives? somebody is going to get sued .. it'll be either the city or the previous property owners. this is going to be ugly. the guy who bought the property is an accomplished medical professor.
(sarc) why do we need any more smart people? we have the smartest people in pacifica (end sarc)

It's what the NOBIE's do. Do not question their actions or motives.
They are all knowing and their opinions are far more important than the lowly citizens.

That is the one lot at Harmony that sold before the project was foreclosed upon. Each house ha to go through planning. That was the term and conditions.

@11:03AM .. so basically stonewalling any property development by way of regulations! got it. i pray the city gets sued and is bankrupted. long past due.

And for the cost of that property plus building a home? The plans are very nice, environmentally friendly, aesthetically pleasing, and take up a very small portion of their large lot. Why do we make it so difficult for people to live here and do business here? We're not really in the boat to throw away the $60K per year that one house at Harmony will pay in property taxes.

they want an EIR for a single home project .. laughable. do they not see the developed hill sides?

I went back and re examined the parcel map. This lot is right above Harmony @ 1 project. The dirt road that looks like it goes to the water tanks.

11:03 and 2:53, right you are. After reviewing that part of the Planning Commission discussion, I've adjusted the article to include "adjacent to Harmony@1 subdivision and following the same 'terms and conditions".
