2. In Memory of Eric DeLambert. Eric, a hero of public golf, died June 28. In the early '70s, Eric leased the then-failing McLaren Park Golf Course from the City of San Francisco, renamed it Gleneagles International--after the famous Scottish highland course, and transformed it into one of the top 9-hole courses in the Country. A MEMORIAL TOURNAMENT will be held in at Gleneagles on SUNDAY, AUGUST 4, 8:00 A.M. For details, contact the golf course, at 415-587-2425.
