DUI car crash, injury at Highway 1 and Linda Mar Blvd, 3/30/13

"A man was seriously injured in a suspected drunken driving crash in Pacifica on Saturday, a police spokesman said. Officers responded to a report of a crash involving two vehicles at the intersection of state Highway 1 and Linda Mar Boulevard at about 7:20 p.m., Pacifica police Capt. Daniel Steidle said.

A 51-year-old woman driving a Mazda allegedly went through a red light and collided with a Ford pickup truck, Steidle said. The truck’s driver was not hurt, but a passenger in the Mazda, a 54-year-old man, was taken to a hospital with serious injuries, he said. The driver, identified as San Bruno resident Sharman O’Brien, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of driving under the influence causing injury, police said. The case remains under investigation by Pacifica police"
