Fire Tax/Fee vote counting process - special notation
We now know the fire assessment tax/fee vote was 63% against, 37% for.
Citizens who elected to monitor the fire assessment tax/fee vote counting process, Tuesday April 12th, were: Bernie Sifry, Theresa Dyer, Shirley Gibb, Tom Clifford, Curt Stellingwerf. Anyone else?
Theresa said they were all at City Council Chambers viewing the process, except for lunch, all day from 9 AM until just after 6 PM when the vote was announced. If you have ever been to city council chambers for a meeting, think about how comfortable and exciting that was during 9 hours of time involvement.
Big thanks from all of us to these Pacifica citizens!

Love the clip art. My fav so far is that stinker from a few days ago.
thank you for being there during the counting, and thanks also to everyone that voted "no" on this, this so would not have helped the fire dept., and only would have given the city yet more money to deposit back into the general fund to squander away. thanks everyone for having the sense to defeat this ridiculous attempt at fooling us!
Anon@735. That was the easy part.
Thanks to these activists. The city would be even more lost than it is without citizen participation.
