Meet and Greet with Dr. Ami Bera, Candidate for Congress (CD 3)

Democracy for America (DFA) is hosting an informative conversation with an outstanding Congressional Candidate candidate who was strongly supported by Howard Dean and local DFA groups in the last election.
What: Meet and Greet with Dr. Ami Bera, Candidate for Congress (CD 3)

When: Sunday, April 10, 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.

Where: Carpenters Union Hall, 1153 Chess Drive, Foster City CA 94404

Dr. Ami Bera has decided to run for the 3rd District Congressional seat in 2012; he ran a fine campaign and came close (lost by 16, 000 votes out of 192,000 caste) to besting Dan Lundgren last year. A physician and educator, Dr. Bera is the former Chief Medical Officer for Sacramento County and has served as Associate Dean of Admissions for the U.C. Davis School of Medicine. According to a recent Cook Political Report (3/24/11), redistricting could make Dan Lungren “one of the most vulnerable incumbents in the country.” Dr. Bera has strong grass-roots support in the district and is a tireless campaigner. Please join us for an informative conversation with this amazing candidate.

Enjoy delicious appetizers. There is no charge for this event.

Directions: From 92 East: take the Foster City Boulevard exit. As you come off the exit ramp, turn left, then left again at Foster City Boulevard. After you cross over 92, take the first right, Chess Drive.
