Celebrate the Coast! Celebrate the Fog Fest 25th Anniversary! The Fog Fest is a celebration of sun, sand, and surf that defines life on the coast. The Fest was created in 1986 to promote Pacifica and to celebrate our marvelous coastal climate. The last full weekend of September was chosen because historically the weather is unbeatable.
The Fog Fest kicks off with our 25th Anniversary Fandango event on the evening of Friday September 24th at the Sanchez Adobe Historic Site then continues Saturday morning at 10 am with the Discover Pacifica Parade, Sand Castle Contest and Marching Band Competition. Arts and Crafts booths, Food and Beverage booths and a variety of activities begin after the parade. From the Fog Fest website.
