City Council meeting, Monday April 27, 2020


This Monday, April 27, 2020 7 p.m, the City Council meeting will be televised on local Pacific Coast television, PCT/Pacifica Channel 26PCT also links their program calendar, and recent coastside civic meeting videos.   Also new, the City has added livestream video to their website. 
Complying with the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Disease Notice (fully detailed on page 1 of the City Council PDF link below):  this civic meeting will not be physically open to the public, and will be held by City Council teleconferencing.

2.    Approval of City Council Minutes:  a) Regular meeting, 4/13/20.
3.     Award construction and management/inspection contracts for Milagra Creek Outfall Repair Project, budget authority $723,104 from Disaster Accounting Fund 38.  a) Construction Contract to Michael Roberts Construction, Inc., contract/general conditions.  b) Management/Inspection Services to GHD, Inc., agreement/proposal. 
4.     Resolution adopting SB 1 gas tax road/street maintenance/rehabilitation project funding  of $730,430, FY 2020-21.  Recommended project: Fassler/Crespi; alternative Manor/Hickey, report/Resolution.

Consideration 
5.    Increase Rockaway Beach in-lieu parking facilities fee, (Rockaway Beach Specific Plan area), report/Resolution.  a) In-lieu fee update (March 2020).
6.    City Council goals and priority projects, FY 2020-21, report.  a) Environmental Scan/Priorities. b) Goals.  c) Priority projects.
7.     Narrative Budget report, FY 2020-2, report.  a) Fund balance commitment policy.

Parking problems and particularly Rvs, increasing with no mitigation because "parking ordinance" in abeyance. Shelter
in Place & 5 mi rule enforcement by closing Linda Mar beach parking lot and Beach Blvd parking causing stress on side streets --.driving locals crazy,

Let's get the people to park the RV's in front of City Council members houses. Let's see how fast they get moved out.
