Only words, why do words or facts matter...
even in your city, lighten up!
"Donald Trump said Thursday that he was being sarcastic when he appeared to suggest that Russia should use espionage to find Hillary Clinton's deleted emails. But he's finding out that presidents -- and by extension, presidential nominees -- don't get that luxury when the topic is national security.
.....  But when they step up to accept their party's nomination, candidates move into an arena where the stakes are higher and the bar for mistakes is much more unforgiving than the rough-and-tumble of a primary campaign.

.... Trump's remarks about Russia and Clinton's emails came at a news conference in which he was discussing the hack of the Democratic National Committee that led to the publication of thousands of emails on WikiLeaks. The emails showed officials strategizing against Clinton primary rival Bernie Sanders in his campaign for the Democratic nomination at a time when the DNC claimed it was neutral in the race. US officials believe that the hacking likely originated in Russia, opening the possibility that it was the result of an espionage operation. The Clinton campaign alleges that the leak was a deliberate attempt to damage her campaign and help Trump, who some experts believe the Kremlin prefers to be the next US president." Read more.

Related,Yahoo/Olivier Knox, 7/27/16, video 3 minutes, "Leon Panetta scorches Trump at DNC, as crowd boos and chants, 'No more war!" “Donald Trump says he gets his foreign policy experience from watching TV and running the Miss Universe Pageant,” Panetta said. 'If only it were funny. But it is deadly serious.' Trump, he charged, 'asks our troops to commit war crimes, endorses torture, spurns our allies from Europe to Asia, suggests that countries to have nuclear weapons, and he praises dictators, from Saddam Hussein to Vladimir Putin.' Panetta, who served former President Bill Clinton as chief of staff, vouched for the former first lady’s leadership. 'In this election, here’s the only candidate for president who has the experience, the temperament and the judgment to be commander-in-chief: and that’s Hillary Clinton,' he said."

Hillary
By Dick Morris, former political advisor to President Bill Clinton
If you happen to see the Bill Clinton five-minute TV ad for Hillary, I offer a few corrections:

Bill says: "In law school Hillary worked on legal services for the poor."
Facts are: Hillary's main extra-curricular activity in 'Law School' was helping the Black Panthers, on trial in Connecticut for torturing and killing a 'Federal Agent.'

Bill says: "Hillary spent a year after graduation working on a Children's rights project for poor kids."
Facts are: Hillary interned with Bob Truehaft, the head of the California Communist Party and counsel for the Panthers.

Bill says: "Hillary could have written her own job ticket, but she turned down all the lucrative job offers."
Facts are: She flunked the D.C. Bar exam and only passed the Arkansas bar. She had no job offers in AR. She was only hired by the Univ of AR Law School at Fayetteville because Bill was already teaching there. She did not join the prestigious Rose Law Firm until Bill became AR Attorney General and was made a partner only after he was elected AR Governor.

Bill says: "Pres. Carter appointed Hillary to the Legal Services Board of Directors and she became its Chairman."
Facts are: The appointment was in exchange for Bill's support for Carter in his 1980 primary against Ted Kennedy. Hillary then became chairman in a coup in which she won a majority away from Carter's choice for chair.

Bill says: "She served on the board of the AR Children's Hospital."
Facts are: Yes she did. But her main board activity was to sit on the Wal-Mart Board of Directors, for a substantial fee. She was silent about their labor and health care practices.

Bill says: "Hillary didn't succeed at getting health care for all Americans in 1994 but she helped to create the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) that provides five million kids with health insurance."
Facts are: Hillary had nothing to do with creating CHIP.

Bill says: "Hillary was the face of America all over the World."
Facts are: Her visits were part of a program to get her out of town so that it would not appear she was running the White House. Her visits abroad were entirely touristic and symbolic.

Bill says: "Hillary was an excellent Senator who kept fighting for Children's and Women's issues."
Facts are: Other than totally meaningless legislation like changing the names on courthouses and post offices, she has passed only four substantive pieces of legislation: a national park in Puerto Rico; one providing respite care for family members helping their relatives through Alzheimer's or other conditions; and two were routine bills to aid 911 victims and responders which were sponsored by the entire N.Y. Delegation. Presently, she is trying to have the U.S. Memorialize Woodstock.
What's most worrisome is she has done everything possible to weaken the President and our Country (that's you and me) when it comes to the 'War on Terror'.
1. She wants to close GITMO and move the combatants to the USA where they would have access to our legal system.
2. She wants to eliminate the monitoring of suspected Al Qaeda phone calls to/from the USA.
3. She wants to grant constitutional rights to enemy combatants captured on the battlefield.
4. She wants to eliminate the monitoring of money transfers between suspected Al Qaeda cells and supporters in the USA.
5. She wants to eliminate the type of interrogation tactics used by the Military & CIA where coercion might be used when questioning known terrorists even though such tactics might save American lives.
One cannot think of a single 'Bill', Hillary has introduced or a single comment she has made that would tend to strengthen our Country in the 'War on Terror'. But, one can think of a lot of comments she has made that weaken our Country and makes it a more dangerous situation for all of us.

1053, this is the kind of fictional, unsubstantiated conspiracy baloney passed among low information "believers"?
Well, at least you had the courtesy to move this fake nonsense from the "Police officers.. Medal of Valor" article.

Since you've not bothered with basic, substantiated research (again), viewing the Democratic Convention today and yesterday may have provided some clues to counter what passes for Newsmax/Dick Morris "reality" (not).

Hillary Clinton was Secretary of State- that's not ceremonial. And since her reputation is described as more hawkish than dovish (with coalitions and peace where possible), your numbered items may be doubtful or misleading.
True, Donald Trump advocated for waterboarding, and killing terrorist's families, which is not only barbaric, but might not improve gaining real information. Besides, aren't such practices against against US and international law?

As First Lady, Clinton's advocacy for universal health care was real; then, followed by national legislation assuring health care availability for low income children (which did happen).
As Senator, Clinton's meeting with President George W. Bush to advocate for and secure $20 billion to rebuild NYC following 9/11 is real (that did happen).
Clinton advocated for fairness, justice, and benefits for children and adults within related government context for about 40 years. That is fact. And as President Barack Obama said, Hillary Clinton is the most qualified candidate for President ever.

Here's some basic first-effort information links: Hillary Clinton.
1. Wikipedia.
2. Website, bio, issues, pictures, donate.
3. Bio.com/people.
4. US News, 1/30/07, "10 things you didn't know about.." (easy, quick reading).
5. try Google search.

So that's the match to your list of five, high 5! Similar to Donald Trump (who gets his information from TV, the National Enquirer, "himself because he's really smart", rumors, tweets, etc.)-- it seems you think professionals who have proprietary information and are doing the work of negotiation and protection of our country don't know anything. And if so, that's amazing!

So Kathy, you claim that, "Since you've not bothered with basic, substantiated research (again)..."

And you counter with
1. Wikipedia (where anyone can publish anything)
2. Website, bio, issues, pictures, donate. (Hillary's own website?)
3. Bio.com/people. (again, where anyone can publish anything)
4. US News, 1/30/07, "10 things you didn't know about.." (2007? Really?)
5. try Google search. (why didn't I think of that?)

as credible, researched documentation of Hillary's greatness?

Really, Kathy? I mean, REALLY!?!

Oh, and since you seem to like US News, here's a recent USN article (not circa 2007)titled, "She Lied and Got Away With It [the Hillary Clinton Story]" that you should really enjoy: http://www.usnews.com/opinion/articles/2016-07-05/fbi-email-investigation-shows-hillary-clinton-lied-and-got-away-with-it

Happy reading!

751, a whole page of "opinion" conspiracy articles against Clinton is funnier than your original comment, and what I gave you in return. And you still avoid source information facts.

But continuing to prove my point that Donald Trump is an egoist, nutcase who should not be President of anything but Trump, here's the latest: "Donald Trump, after hearing speeches at the Democratic convention this week, said Thursday he wanted to "hit a number of those speakers so hard, their heads would spin." "They'd never recover," he said. Trump often uses the term "hit" to mean verbally attack, rather than physical contact." Source CNN/Ashley Killough,7/29/16.

The Presidential election amounts to the following choice: Hillary Clinton is sane; Donald Trump is insane. One of them will win. Who you going to vote for?
This time, the core issue is not conservative vs. liberal, it's Trumpism.
Clinton has a good track record working with others (left and right) and consusus, so with Clinton our government should function better than it has been.
