The
Rotary Club of Pacifica will welcome North Coast County Water
District Board Vice President Joshua Cosgrove at it's upcoming
meeting, August 18, at 7:30 AM at the Sharp Park Golf Course
Restaurant.
Mr.
Cosgrove will present an overview of NCCWD operations and focus on
water conservation in our local Water District. He worked for over
20 years in the City of Pacifica Wastewater Department and will
provide information on the operations of the Calera Creek Water
Recycling Plant.
He
has served on the Finance, CIP, Building/Seismic, Health Benefits and
Desalination committees. He is the NCCWD representative to LAFCO,
CSDA, ACWA/JPIA, and serves on the Joint Articulation Committee and
the NCCWD/Montara Mutual Aid Committee. His current term began in
December 2012 and runs through December 2016. He is a past board
President.
Mr.
Cosgrove has a Master's Degree in Public Administration, Bachelor's
Degree in Business Administration, and holds certifications as a
Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator and Collection System
Technologist. Beyond his roles with NCCWD, Mr. Cosgrove recently
joined the City of Daly City – Department of Water / Wastewater
Resources and may explain his new role there.

individuals are invited to attend the meeting, meet Mr. Cosgrove, and
learn more about the work of the Rotary Club of Pacifica.
