What the hell was that?

It was the sad state of affairs in Pacifica.
It was a whole bunch of stupid and very ugly people who are just doing what they always do, protecting their own poverty laden existences. Fuck every one else.

At least the project at Monterey and Waterfort got approved overwhelmingly (6-1 but should have been 7-0). Housing and commercial space taking away one less blighted weed infested property in Pacifica.

Attempting to change the name is the latest delay tactic by the gang of no. Delay, delay, delay. At least there were people there arguing for sanity and safety. Nice to see sane Pacifica speak up for a change.

759 From what I saw and heard, no one on either side seemed to have a clue as to what was going on. The usual characters for and against stuck to their usual scripts like kamikaze pilots. Too bad the city moved the target. Occasionally someone came out of the fog long enough to ask WTF? Thank city staff for another WTF moment and don't forget who they report to. Classic Pathetica.

11:13 has it correct.

Planning was simply voting on the budget line item for the coming fiscal year re the project and its being deemed consistent with the general plan, but that didn't stop the dumbasses from both sides from wasting oxygen and flapping their gums about safety, increasing capacity, and generally asking Planning to approve the Caltrans project. Hey dummies, try reading the agenda closely for once in your lives--it wasn't about approval of the Caltrans project.

Ultimately, the city sabotaged the entire process by trying to pretend that even though Planning was giving them some budget authority over a project along the stetch of hwy between Fassler and Reina Del Mar, this had no relation whatsoever to a totally different project by Caltrans along the same stretch of highway.

A new low for the city.

1230 Council's clumsy paw prints were all over that outbreak of mass buffoonery last night. How can they and senior staff top that one? Maybe get weaves and announce they're black? I'm down with it.

How does this city manage to fuck up every single thing that it touches? You'd think it could get something right once in a while if just by accident, but nope, complete shit through and through.

420 I'd say that's the 64 million dollar question, but we don't want to give them any ideas, do we?

I blame the gang of no for the constant lawsuits, asinine comments at every public meeting, basically keeping this town in the dark ages. When will they let some infrastructure improvements and safety enhancements be done? Now they have taken the tactic to appeal everything the planning commission approves to the city council. Keener is the worse! He doesn't know shit about this city or it's history and he's some kind of hero for these people. Gives you an idea of their values. Many of the posters here have never been to a meeting to listen to this crap. Try it some time. It sickens me.
