Not exactly. Mayor DeJarnatt was present until item #9, when Council voted to changed the city ordinance for the 721 Oddstad parcel from agricultural to commercial. That's the proposed Assisted Living project parcel. DeJarnatt recused himself (due to the location of his family's nearby property).
City council votes: Public Hearing, item 7, 5-0. Item 8: 4-0, 1 absent (DeJarnatt).
Consideration, item 9: not an action item. Councilmember Mary Ann Nihart comment, "..bring forward at a better economic time."

Anon 806, 914, DeJarnatt wasn't there for Council communications, citizen oral communications or consideration, item 9. That's okay, maybe there was something good on television.

The Mayor was there until he recused himself from the Assisted Living Center item at which point he announced he would leave and go home.

Yeah DeJarnett couldn't have hung around till after the general plan vote? He really cares don't he.
