Looks like we're a gas-guzzling, cigar smokin', gun toting bunch that eats out everywhere from Mickey D's to Puerto 27. BTW, with respect and gratitude to him, who is Usman A. Syed?
Google search shows that Usman A. Syed is owner of Pacifica Shell station which includes a liquor license. Gas guzzlin', beer drinkin', cigarette smokin', gun totin' -- ah, Pacifica.
" gas guzzling, beer drinking,cigarette smoking, gun toting." Makes us sound like a bunch of rednecks. The last time I thought of Pacifica being totally redneck was when I read a story about some drunk guy trying to ride his horse into the old "Long Barn" buffet and Rose Room bar that Al Rosenberg had at the Pedro Point shopping center;
938 Well this is funny. Is this a true portrayal of Pacifica tastes or a reflection of a lack of wider and more upscale choices? Posh, we ain't. I'd say this is us. No wonder our wannabe yuppie council is so out of touch with its constituency.
If any of you Yessie folks have tabled outside of Safeway for a cause rather than bicker here on Fix, you'd be surprized, or not, at how many customers are from south of the city shopping on the way home. The same is true of our gas stations, gun store and a handful of good eateries.
If you are looking for a place to have a Thanksgiving dinner Vallemar Stations is taking reservations. I am sure Hal and Barbara will put on a good feed. Enjoy.

ReplyDeleteHave you ever tabled in front of Safeway, I think not.
Sorry Darth Hutch, not today!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear our neighbors to the South fancy our groceries, gas and dining options. Without them our economy really would be non-existant.
ReplyDeleteSounds like both sides of the Slide guzzle gas, smoke somethin' or other, like their weapons and dine out lots. Yeehaw!
