"I wanted to add that my wife and I took the 112 SamTrams bus on a Sunday from the Holiday Inn Express Hotel to the Colma Bart station and then to union square. It took us fifty minutes to get to and fifty to get home. Plus Pacifica has some good spots to eat. When we were there we had an awesome time at this place called the Surf Spot. They had a live band, great food and you can gaze out into the Pacific Ocean and the California hillside. We walked there from our hotel. Then we went to this place called Gorilla BBQ. That was the whole reason for the visit. To go there. I love Guy Fieri and Triple D. And ever since I saw the episode with Gorilla BBQ, I knew I had to go there. It did not disappoint. The place is run out of a caboose. Gotta love it. And we walked there as well. And we went back to fisherman's warf on public transport on Monday and it took us a good hour and twenty minutes each way, but it was totally worth it. It was cool to watch the people surfing in Rockaway and Linda Mar. Plus the trail system is really cool there we did an out back along the beach over hills, along a seawall with a golf course on one side. Out to a pier where people were fishing and crabbing. It was like an 8 mile hike/walk and we had no stop lights or cars to worry about. I need to post some pictures. Pacifica Rocks!"
Cut and paste. Rise up! Take Action! It is up to us to save Pacifica!

ReplyDeleteIt's not a good idea for locals to pretend to be tourists in order to tout Pacifica on TripAdvisor.
ReplyDeleteDo you think that was a local that posted on TripAdvisor?
ReplyDeleteYes.
ReplyDeleteUh oh, would that be someone who posts on here a lot? What's next for Pacifica, locusts?
ReplyDeleteSteve you can post as a local. Nothing wrong with giving people inside info.
ReplyDeleteAnd it was done so deftly.
ReplyDeleteGo ahead and post as a local, Hutch. That's ok.
ReplyDeleteAnything that looks like an organized campaign or phony reviews will backfire, though.
