Fun article and looks like a fun tourney. In a weird way, we almost should thank Plater and the WEBLEEDU Institute. As a result of the battle, I get the sense that a much bigger and tighter community is building around the course.
Certainly there is a much greater appreciation of the course's significance. I've had a number of golfers tell me that they really never knew about its pedigree and historical importance until they learned about it through this controversy. Like I said - we should almost thank them.
Monday July 5th, Sharp Park did close to 300 rounds in one day!!! Not bad for a course that no one plays anymore or is under utilized as Plater and the WEI claim!!!
