RE: Connemara
I can't find any humor in the misfortunes of this developer. But it is an example of the fallacy that Pacifica's problems would be solved if only we would build more mega monster McMansions. I hope they manage to make some money for their efforts. I hope I can make some money out of mine. Their market is the nouveau riche, who are ignorant in ways less common than they were just a few years ago. I don't mock them. I can't help them. I hope that this is a teachable moment for the fixpacifica bunch.

Lois,
ReplyDeleteI believe the teachable moment is that we have now learned how 8 years of hacking away at a project in Pacifica planning hell results in bad market timing for the developer. Shucks, that one wuz easy!
I think those homes are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteLance sez:
ReplyDeleteOnly Hobbit Hovels in Pacifica.
Or caves. Or cardboard boxes.
Someone needs to tell Underhill to quit sniffing plumber supplies.
The style of the homes at Connemara are very similar to the new homes here in Texas. very nice. you're always welcome to visit me, Kathleen, and you will feel very politically comfortable.
ReplyDeleteAll new homes should be 900 sq ft or less in Pacifica. Except if you have a pool table.
Thank You , Jeffrey. Can I bring my truck and guns? lol.
ReplyDeletewell hell yeah cuz I got no truck and no guns!
ReplyDeleteLOL! Great!
ReplyDeleteHere's the Texas truth . . . every single restaurant in this city has a sign warning patrons that carry an unlicensed gun into the premises is a violation of Federal law. I don't know why, but its kind of cool they need to remind people. LOL.
ReplyDeletethat carrying an unlicensed gun . . . my grammar has been atrocious today . . .
ReplyDeleteI know of a large group of elders in their late 70's that have recently purchased their first gun. I think we need to pay attention to these elders, seems they have a good sense of what is coming to be.
ReplyDeleteUnderhill's "pipe" dream is for all of his fellow troglodytes to take up residence in an algae covered grotto under Ian's secret waterfall. He can then spend the rest of his ganja filled days marvelling the besuty of the backside of water.
ReplyDeleteIf you are not in that Chamber Directory you will not get the call.
ReplyDeleteI called several Pacifica plumbers and got no response, as usual I went "Over The Hill" and got George Salet and was treated well.
Pacifica Merchants like to "Bitch and Moan" but quite frankly the "customer service" is "lacking"
