  3. No. Here's the deal.
    .we elect a majority
.find a way to target the planning commission without appearing to target it
.bingo! council sub-committee calls for an overhaul of all comms/cmmttees because they can
    .recruit heavily from the chamber
.interview and select applicants, how many will bear that chamber stamp of approval on their rumps?
.rejoice at a new era for Pacifica

Continue the town's death-spiral of no building, no development and no revenue producing projects, but with a whole new crowd to blame. Absolutely cannot wait.

  4. Save a chair for Connie Menafee and a couple from the Chamber.

City Council to interview Planning Commissioners

Last week, City Council established new rules about city commissions that requires all the standing members of the commission to reapply for their positions.

Current Planning Commissioners Thomas Clifford, Richard Campbell, Josh Gordon, Chuck Evans, Celeste Langille and Michael Brown have all reapplied for their positions. Commissioner Leo Leon has not reapplied for his position. They are being joined by new applicants Mary Brown, Lisa Villasenor, William Keaney, Allen Federman, Jeffrey Cooper, Sue Vaterlaus, Connie Menefee, John Nibbelan, Victor Spano and Mike Bell.

  6. Looks like just 5 of the applicants for planning commission are truly new to the fracas. Everyone else is pretty well-known. Googled the 5 and Villasenor is an attorney who plays golf @SPGC and supports its continuance, Nibbelin is a Deputy County Counsel for SMC, Cooper is a general contractor, Keaney is a civil engineer, Federman a bit of a mystery other than a possible link to proj engineer at the SFVA Hospital, but don't bet on it.
Can't wait for council to make its appointments from such a big field of applicants.
