Beyond that, as an "economically stimulating project", sure Big Wave is better than economically neutral projects such as painting utility poles (which PG&E is suggesting as a community art project).

Hopefully this gateway city to the coast will also build something other than tourism, although we do have a Taco Bell on Linda Mar Beach.

It does seem that this city is finally building a solid Administration, and hopefully will move forward to economically beneift the city, and the people of this city.Kathy Meehnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7481238059942383326.post-34347197962688249962015-01-29T09:22:27.586-08:002015-01-29T09:22:27.586-08:00And the hippies and Riptides say Highway 1 is safe...And the hippies and Riptides say Highway 1 is safe.

1/29/2015 8:50:04 AM (30 min)
PIF150290003
FS72 North County Fire
Show icons for all incident types. Funny to scroll through all the stories on this blog and notice that the regular commenters don't respond to any of the newsworthy stories that relate to realistic positive economically stimulating projects like Big Wave. Those people championing this project are environmentally concerned, coast savvy intelligent doers. This development in HMB would do far more for the coastal economy than painting utility poles and fire hydrants.

The coastal communities should consider coming together to work on a campaign to promote these communities collectively: strategize a campaign that promises a spread of visitors spending throughout the various communities by emphasizing each ones "unique" and alluring qualities.

SolutionsBasedAproach...........Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7481238059942383326.post-29474006567062339242015-01-23T06:07:17.374-08:002015-01-23T06:07:17.374-08:00It's been quite a few years, but glad to see t...It's been quite a few years, but glad to see that the City of Pacifica is finally taking steps to turn over the stewardship of their portion of the Headlands to another agency.dan murraynoreply@blogger.com
