San Jose has introduced a tough new ordinance giving city workers authorization to write citations for illegal fireworks. Given that the police are overwhelmed with complaints, this would increase the number of city workers who could assist in stopping the use of illegal fireworks. I hope that the City of Pacifica takes stricter measures to end the 'war zone'.
